Today was hive inspection day! 🙌🏻
The girls were a little extra feisty because of the heat and humidity. They also are getting tight on space AGAIN so that certainly could be contributing to their moodiness.
It looks like both the hive we split AND the split we took from that hive now need to be split due to crowding.
They let us know by creating “swarm cells” on the bottom of their frames. We will have our mentor Lauren at Tranquil Hive Honey Co. over tomorrow to take a peek and help us out with next steps.
