Pantry Grand Re-Opening

We would like to send a huge heartfelt thanks to all our friends and community members who came out to celebrate the opening our our New Pantry yesterday. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with both old and new friends!

While we believe deeply that needing a larger pantry isn’t a cause to celebrate, we DO still want to take a moment to revel in the beauty of our pantry community and all the good we have accomplished to date.

We are absolutely filled with joy at the way our neighbors continue to show up to take care of each other without hesitation.

We are also optimistic about the impact our little growing pantry and garden will have because of the amazing support we have experienced over the past two and half years.

We know our community is filled with kind, generous, AMAZING humans who know how to look out for themselves AND EACH OTHER.

We are a community that sticks together and rallies around those in need. There is no problem we can’t solve when we come together. Our pantry and garden are daily proof of how neighbors can gather together around large scale problems to come up with innovative solutions.

Today will celebrate our renewed commitment to you, our beloved community, to continue to provide a safe and inclusive space for you to look out for each other.

Thank you today and everyday for your support. YOU are the magic that makes the Pantry possible, and THAT is cause for celebration.

Special thanks to our friends at TEAM, Inc., ALL IN for Seymour, All in For Milford, and Haven's Harvest for your company and contributions. Thank you to Rev. Tricia Pasley at Trinity Episcopal Church of Seymour for generously loaning your tables and chairs and to Jodie Gil for your time, company, and expert photography skills. We love and appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️
