Today was a hive inspection day!!! 🙌🏻🐝
The girls were doing so well that we had to split them into two colonies. We were super grateful to have our mentor Lauren from Tranquil Hive Honey Co. on hand to help! She even brought her intern Austin along to learn with us.
Then when we were cleaning up we noticed a SWARM of bees in our yard right near our apiary!!!! We felt VERY honored that they chose us and quickly called Lauren BACK to our house to help us get them settled into a box.
It was a super exciting day, especially for our littlest bee keepers who were beyond thrilled to assist in swarm catching duties.
